@fox9ninja In all jurisdictions, judicial executions must be carried out in front of witness. In NYS, the persons necessary to attend would be the prison warden, the chief law enforcement officer of the county in which the conviction occured(Sheriff), 5-7 official witnesses, press and relatives. The doctor pronounces death, signs the death certificate, cause of death, the Sheriff signs the death warrant and returns it to the Court where the court clerk files it for the court records.
