My 1972 Volkswagen Super Beetle baja bug truly starting up for the first time. She had sputtered a few times before that, but this was the first real run the engine has had in 10+ years. Thats my dad holding the jar full of gas and messing with the throttle, my friend Nick on camera duty and your truly on ignition.

  • @oldschoolbugs what are you talking about supers are what you want to um waste

  • @peerce0322 go on to the samba . com

  • if at all possible avoid using supers for baja's

their strut suspension up front is quite weak and does not fair well in off road situations

but if its just for looks then you can just run bigger tires

i run 235-75R15s on the back of my 69

and if you need more than you can adjust the back spring plates

  • Hi, i got a 72 super also....i was just curious as to how you put the lift kit onto it to make it a super baja?!! please let me know thanks!!!!!!!

  • nice car
