  • Thanks for your input rmceachern1325 but though your experience was what it was, this particular incident, as others, was indeed caused by oscillation in the swingarm which lead to loss of control which lead to the pipes hitting and throwing sparks etc..... and worst of all, the rider going down

  • That crash wasn't caused by the lack of a stabilizer. And it wasn't even a bagger thereby making your entire point mute. Just sayin'.

  • @TheKiltedPatriot

In just sayin' - True-Track is designed for rubber mounted Harleys. The bike shown is indeed a rubber mounted soft bag Road King and the crash was caused by the riders lack of control in the bike because of lateral movement in the swingarm which True-Track is designed to control, but thanks for your comment.

  • How does this stabilizer work? I've ridden sportbikes my whole life with steering stabilizers, does this work the same way? Jus wondering?

  • @meancbr1000

True-Track mitigates rear steer with the addition of a third stabilizer link attached with a bucket and dog bone to the rear of the tran pan and cross member disallowing the swing arm which is mounted is rubber to move laterally .This is the cause of many wobbles, oscillation or weave of rubber mounted Harely's.

  • that bike went down because he bottomed out his pipes, look at the sparks, I high centered my bike like this carved the middle of my pipes and luckily never went down, this was on a 2011 Road Glide custom

  • More like Stay Alive! don't drive a motorcycle period hahaha

  • That looks like an ankle about to break at 0:21.
