Holstein Non-Motorized Christmas Parade 2008

On Saturday, December 13th, 2008, the village of Holstein in the Township of Southgate, Ontario, Canada held their 16th annual old-time Christmas Parade.

Unlike other Santa Claus Parades, the Holstein event allows only animals, humans, wagons, sleighs and buggies. No motorized vehicles take part.

This unique event draws an audience from all over Southern Ontario, and every parking space for miles was taken long before the parade began.
