  • They're technicians of various sorts - people with experience in rigging, diving, crane handling. There will be supervisors as well, mostly hands-off types who know the innards well. Pilots and deckhands.

  • Probably neither. I would think that they're technicians.

    If not, then they would probably be mechanical engineers.
