Final Fantasy 6 Level Cheat/Trick/Hint

My first vid!
This Cheat (more a trick) lets you restart the game from the last save with the same level. All you have to do is play the game as much as you want never saving normally, only save normally in the first saving spot( throughout the rest of the game only save with the emulator, it problably works with quicksave too) I´m not very advanced in this game yet that is why I am only in the veldt. I´m not the one who found this and there are vids of this are on youtube, many people probably know this already.It's not in a very high level because i'm still at the begining of the game.

Not really a trick. In fact, I think the instruction manual's tip section tells you to not reset when you get game over due to exactly this reason.

It's the GBA version.

Not sure if it will work on SNES or PSX versions.

What version are you playing, now? o.0 the text is all different and stuffs...

It's different because it's the european version. You're version is probably the American one.

You really wouldn't want to do this anyway. Until you at least get the Zoneseek esper, you shouldn't try to gain too many levels so you can take advantage of the stat bonuses espers give you upon leveling up.

the problem is, early leveling up (before Magicite) does not strengthen a character's attributes, such as stamina or speed. A better trick is, once near the end of the game (and only on GBA) perform a quick save, and start a new game. Don't save on the new game, but keep playing until you acquire Sabin. Then kill your party off. You will start back at the quick save point with extremely low levels on Terra, Locke, Mog, Edgar, and Sabin. This will allow for maximum attribute boosting.

@ff2paladin The instruction manual (at least the Super Nintendo version) did indeed tell you not to reset so you could take advantage of this "trick"
