  • Breath-taking! How lucky for us that Carreras was a true artist who had to sing what he loved--what was in his soul. THANK YOU Onegin65; what a performance!

  • Wasn't the same? It's a wonder he survived and he could sing after his illness. And he beats all the "tenors" of our days.

  • Why the woods are wrong. who is the conductor?Beautiful singing!!

  • José Carreras: the most overrated tenor in history

  • @Sieglinde84 he is so admirable not only as a singer:-)

  • toujours superbe,la voix, une des plus belle du siècle dernier, merci monsieur carreras

  • que artistas mas maravillosos

  • beautiful singing from both guys, and i must say Jose looks damn fine in that costume !!!

  • in one of these engagements Don Alvaro is, as he supposes, mortally wounded, and confides to Don Carlos care a valise containing a bundle of letters which he is to destroy as soon as Don Alvaro dies. (Solenne in quest'ora - "Swear to me, in this solemn hour"). Don Carlo swears not to look at the contents of the letters in the duet.

  • in carreras captures under lyrics.
