The movie was so much more impressive when I saw it the first time round - I must have been 7 or 8 ...
Though I generally agree with what's being said, the Nerd somehow misses the essence of Ninja-dome. Compared to a zillion Godfrey Ho / Richard Harrison Ninja flicks, it makes Ron Marchini appear like Marlon Brando.
I worked as a producer on a Ron Marchini(mar-key-nee) action pic in the 1980's, called Return Fire(aka Jungle Wolf II).The 35mm film co-starred Adam West. Prior to Return Fire, Ron shot his low-budget films in the Philippines. Our film cost $125K and I'm told it made over a million in pre-sales for foreign theatrical & home video. A trivia note: director was banned from coming into the editing sessions. Hey Ron, if you're reading this: I never got the promised VHS tapes of Return Fire...
There's need for more Ray Marchini videos on Youtube! Who could ever forget timeless gems like Forgotten Warrior AKA Commmander Rainbow or Death Machines?!?
When will he ever be awarded with the honorable Oscar (™) made from rusty tin (and then tossed out into the street ...).
How Sybil never got a late nite cable show I will never, ever know.

LoL I loved Ninja Warriors as a kid! I hired it frequently from the good-ol' video store. Wish I could find it...
Oh and that Sybil Danning or whatever her name is... looks like it took her weeks just to learn how to say "Konnichiwa"
