  • hey there stoner.....isn't the easiest and most straight forward answer " great, what are we looking for?" . way to over complicate things.

  • @zackclosser When people say they are just looking it is a stall and asking them to clarify what they are looking for doesn't provide them with the "perceived" out they want. Rather than overcomplicating this response gives them the perceived out and allows to move on.

Why not just ask them if they're related to ben lookin cause he just in the other day. Use the same old typical crap and the same old typical crappy results.

  • @zackclosser Best reply I have used is "Great that's where it all starts right"? "How is it going so far? Hopefully the customer will share some horror story about how they were treated elsewhere. Then I say "I am sorry for the way you where treated down the street would you like to hear how we do business here? Before they answer I say "It is our stated policy to treat each and every person that come to our store as we would an honored guest in our home, every day, every time, no exceptions.

  • @harlowization When using any greeting it should not be because we have a hope the customer will do something like relay a horror story. We need to know what they are going to say and where we go from there.

I have listened to most all of Paul Cummings stuff and have noticed it is virtually identical to what Grant Cardone and Mark Tewart say. I'm confident, I understand, easiest part of my job, etc.

  • @zackclosser And how does that work for ya Zack? Does it do anything to move the sale along in the direction we want?

  • this is a seasoned salesman

  • I use this, it helps get the ball rolling for me 80% of the time.

  • That's exactly why I never set foot into a dealership unless I know what car I'm buying and how much I'll pay. No reason to go otherwise.

  • Most people coming into a car lot are probably interested, even if they do not plan to purchase at that time.Dont let the Im just looking commment discourage the sale. work around it.
