@joebloggsgogglebox if this helps please look at the number of legally acquired guns used in crime, which happens to be less then 5 percent if memory serves
-
@LLOYD19851012 - You can't deny the effectiveness of a gun. That's why you're whining.
-
@stoikr How the hell does that seem dumb? A politician lies all the time, and can get into office with little trouble, and if multiple people do that, they can make decisions for everyone else.
-
@joebloggsgogglebox The point is: an insane man will kill a normal person. A normal person will not kill another person, unless put into a position where it is life or death. We should worry about Iran going nuclear because it's likely they will attack someone, we're less worried about other countries going nuclear because it is less likely that they will attack someone.

Secular or non-secular, what's your point? Are muslim nations somehow more prone to launching nuclear missiles..? Moreso than the USSR or say Nazi Germany..? You don't need religion to make whacky government regimes.
-
@joebloggsgogglebox the only reason why a nuclear missle is a big deal is because of the people who might get the hands on it. Iran is a nonsecular nation.therefore the controversy has never been about the nuclear missile itself rather it is the goverment which is actually taking action to ascertain one. SAME LOGIC(Nuclear weapons dont kill people, people kill people)
-
hah people being scared of the people they voted into government... doesn't that seem REALLY DUMB?!
wtf
-
@AlabamaCSA We aren't scared of guns.
-
@LLOYD19851012 And you are all pussies for being scared of guns :)

DON'T YOU DARE BRING A FUCKING CELLPHONE IN HERE
at the pearl highschool shooting (luke woodham) in pearl, MS the only thing that stopped his shooting rampage was the the principal going to his car, getting his gun, and confronting woodham. he stopped more people from dying. how did the union reward him...? they fired him.

@SigurdHeathen I'd have to do a thorough analysis of the statistics (my job), but a brief examination across different countries seems to show a positive correlation between availability of lethal weapons and higher murder rates.
The argument about "it's people not guns that kill people" is bullshit, by that reasoning we shouldn't worry about Iran going nuclear.
