A music compilation of the Indian move, "Border," with the song "Burning Hearts" by the band Survivor. The movie was released in 1997 and was based on the real Battle of Longewala that took place in the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971.
In the Battle of Longewala, a 120 men from the 23rd Punjab regiment stood their ground for six hours against a Pakistani tank regiment manned by 3000 men and 65 tanks. Although the movie inaccurately portrays men getting slaughtered left and right, in the real battle, the punjab regiment only lost 2 men while the pakistanis lost 200 soldiers, 36 tanks , and a 100,vehicles.

Battle of Longewala was a historical truth, every Indian soldier was as the same soldiers at Thermopylae.
