NOTHING that she says negates that gay couples can do an equally fine, or better, job of helping foster children advance towards healthy adulthood. She produces no facts that she was in any way superior. None of the adults who went through her house as temp foster kids has come forth and vouched for her as a "good person" -- not one, but her own half-sister regularly writes letters to twin-cities newspapers critical of her claims of achievements.

To the previous comment, regarding Michelle sending her kids to private school and sending her foster kids to public school...did you not hear her complaining about the system that doesn't allow foster children to go to private school?? That's what age was addressing! How unfair that was! I am a foster parent. I've also fostered mire children than her. I currently have 8 in my home. My child is in private school. I have tried to get my foster children in private school as well, but it's against

As a family with many more foster children than her I find her comments to be extremely self promoting. I hate her generalizations. If she is an educated woman and her husband is supposed to be a therapist, I can not understand why she does not mention the emotional state of these children. To discuss special education is just condescending. To send her children to private school while sending her foster children to public school is inexcusable. I do not want to make the obvious judgement.
