neither is practical for anyone reasonbly strong as you wont be able to shoulder a weight heavy enough.You could hold the bar between your legs like a deadlift without so much back stress.

@alexjones234 they take heavy weights off racks,youd be better off holding the weight between your legs like a sumo deadlift.If you want to work quads then a full depth front squat olympic style would be hard to beat

@nilssonnick - thanks again mate. im gonna try them after lunges on my next session. i was browsing through some of your uploads earlier, you've got loads of creative ways of doing exercises while still reaping pleanty of benefits. just when i thought id seen it all..

I've tried this and it WORKS. I was able to increase my indurance and improve on my marathons. Most leg exercises hurt my knees and I've avoided them until I watched this video and tried it myself. Thanks Nissonnick:0)
