The Angel cried unto her that is full of grace, O pure Virgin rejoice and again I say , rejoice; for thy Son hath arisen from the grave on the third day.

Shine, Shine O new Jerusalem, for the glory of the Lord hath arisen upon thee;
dance now and be glad, O Sion,, and do Thou exalt O pure Theotokos in the arising of Him Whom thou didst bear.

hah thanx! no i'm not greek, i'm lebanese but can understang some of it and can read and wrie. i am also orthodox and i love it when hymns are chanted in greek

The lyrics of this hymn are pretty clear. However, when you post the text along with the hymn, people read/sing along and end up learning the entire hymn- which is blessed thing! Perhaps its best (if its not too much trouble) to put up the text.
