Most Likely the FIRST BEAST (he receives the Wound by a Sword..Rev 13:3)
Second Beast = False Prophet (many hold this belief)
Second Beast seems to be the Miracle Worker, that sets up the Image...perhaps this is AFTER the Beast is Slain

Just like.......Satan, Dragon, Serpent, Devil < all refer to the SAME ENTIY

There are two Beasts mentioned in Revelation 13. Which one are you referring to?

The Beast from across the sea is the first beast. This expression is a Bible expression to describe someone not from the LAND of Israel. It is the same expression used in Daniel 8 where it prophetically refers to the Roman Emperor. The second Beast is actually the Anti-Christ. This is beast is the ruler of the Land, that is the High Priest, who literally withstood Christ and was thus- Antichrist. You can read more about this on my website andrewcorbett dot net.
