More than 1,400 acres at the Carson River Ranches, Nevada state park have been treated for weeds using goats for prescribed grazing. Park regional manager Eric Johnson explains the project and the benefit to the state.

  • Sunlei5 horses were brought by the spaniards goats and sheep are the best for restoration because their eating habits are similar to the big horn and antelope Wichita roamed the grasslands in big herds

  • I have a idea! how about you restore the great north american grasslands like they were for thousands of years by placing horses back on the land they had! goats, omg..a weedfield and goats... are goats more native to the lands than horses? goats instead of wild horses.... what is wrong with THAT picture ?
