Unboxing "Cloud Black" PS3 - Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete (FF XIII Trial Version Set)

Just an unboxing of the "Cloud Black" PS3 that arrived today from the Square Enix store in Japan (Thursday April 16th 2009). I hope you enjoy it. It was very difficult to get a hold of one even in Japan. The video quality gets better in the middle once the camera is focused better.

How I got a hold of one:
The Square-Enix website gave priority for ordering to higher level members and I had to wait for my turn to be able to order. When the new members finally got to order, I was devastated after getting one into my shopping cart and going through the ordering process, only to be thrown an error message at the final payment stage, and the "Cloud Black" PS3 removed from my cart. Apparently it sold out during the payment process, since I was returned to the items webpage where it said it was sold out and I could no longer add it to my cart. For the next week I kept checking the webpage at my work without luck, but one morning it appeared again just before lunch and I quickly added it to my cart and paid for it. By the time I finished paying for it the item was already sold out again, and I didn't see it come back in to stock after that, so I felt very lucky. It's available in limited quantities at import stores like PlayAsia but at a very expensive price. Since I got it from the Square Enix website I paid the normal retail price for it which was 49980 Yen with free courier delivery (about $499 but it was $450 on the exchange rate at the time of ordering). Since I was gonna buy the FFVII Advent Children Complete /FF XIII Blu-Ray package which was 5900 Yen anyway, I basically picked up a nice limited edition 160GB PS3 for a fair price, but I had to work hard for it. I wish you good luck if you're trying to get a hold of one.
