Just installed this kit on my car, I've had them sitting in the garage since around February and just never bothered to put them in - I hit all the ballasts under the radiator cover, and routed all the wires pretty stealth also! :) The bulbs are 8000k temp, which is supposed to be blue (I would have chose 6k but I bought them used)...but really it's more bluish white, perfect IMO for a blue car haha...

I can still see great at night, they are as good if not better than my silverstars - even without having a projector housing.

  • Why buy from stang mods? I bet you paid an arm and a leg for that kit.

  • @Mr2002MustangGT Nope. I bought them from a friend for $60 or something like that lol - he's the one who payed an arm and a leg in the first place ;) hahaha

  • i found these wayy better than silverstar as u said in your discription "good or if not better". i put 8000K B-xenon's in my f150 today and they work great!

  • Well they aren't any more useful than the silverstar bulbs I had before because of the limitations of the stock housing. Basically they are just really bright and the light travels way farther.

  • Does your high beams flicker? I just installed mine today and my high beams flicker really bad.

  • @bennydaball Oh, nice! I got mine from eBay for 90. The only issue I had was with one of the ballast, but no big deal. What all color temps have you had so far? I've had 6k, 8k, green, and now 10k. The 10k I have now is just single beam. I'm thinking of getting 8K bi xenon soon.

  • @drc1981 You might have the bulbs on wrong side, left/right and the bulb is clocked upside down because of that - that would be my first guess! If that's not it, perhaps a wiring/install problem.

  • Hey man I have another question about your HIDs. I have an HID kit on my '01 now and I'm having an issue with high and low beams (mine is a dual xenon kit) being opposite. When I select high at the steering lever, the lights go to low, and vice versa. Ever have that problem?

  • @BennyBlown2v Yea that's what I thought they were like, but just wanted to check. Thanks for the info.

  • @drc1981 It's the exact same beam, just the light itself "clicks" and re-aims upwards. It has the same cutoff on the sides and front as the low beams, but is aimed higher so you can see further out. Hope that helps!

  • Nice looking lights man; Are the high beams much different than low beams in terms of the light it shines down the road and side to side? I ask because I've had some tell me there's not a big different in high and low beams with a Bi-Xenon kit.

  • I just replaced my shit lenses on my 04 stang with some projectors...they now have a clear cutoff point and produce 0 glare. look cool as hell in the daytime too.
