MUSC Putrajaya Drag 3rd July Incident. Avantech Kecup's CRX caught fire.

My condolence to Kecup and to the other Avantech's crew for the lost of their most praised CRX which recently caught on fire on the 3rd of July right after the MUSC Drag Event at Putrajaya. According to source, the fire breakout was cause by a technical failure which started around the engine bay. According to the MUSC organizer, it wuz cause by a leakage at the fuel tank.

Thank God the driver and everyone else was safe and escape unharmed (driver manage to jump out and dive away as the car is still moving). Avantech's crew members manage to save a few other items (laptop and ECU according to eyewitness) but unfortunately the car could not be rescue due to the fast fire blazing and engulf the whole car in matter of minutes. The actual story behind this tragic incident still remains unknown. Just a friendly suggestion, hope that the event manager or organizer would be more prepared and well equip in this kinda of situation. More fire extinguisher is required, ERT (Emergency Response Team) must be available and on the alert at all time. I would suggest all the MUSC Marshall to undergo ERT training in case of an emergency. Just my 2cents yo.... Peace ^_^
