I get the feeling that MDI frowns upon the use of ecodomes in the USA but I have to ask this. If you were living in hurricane alley with potential for tornado almost any day wouldn't it be more efficient than a lower 80's model 14x80 mobile home? It seems that we will have to save 100% of building funds so we may have to go with ecodomes tied together. We have the funds to build ecodomes now was thinking of building 15 or 20' domes connected with hall ways or a court yard walled structure.

5.28 love the shelf overhang very nice addition and if encorporated all around it would make perfect system for solar panel install with a track on to track sun. Also a great way to add a an outdoor solar shower. The grey water bould have a water collector where the water could be used to water garden plants.8.50 interesting on the way they save having communal bathrooms.
