Homegrown, previously known as "how terrorists think" is a powerful lecture given by Ahmad Shehab, graduate of "Citizen Academy" held by Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). Includes fascinating points about the security of Canada, how CSIS and RCMP are involved. What do Muslims feel about the security of Canada? The Soviety 'Genocide' (please don't misuse this term, it means the pre-meditated and calculated murder of a particular ethnic or religious group of people) was not a religious conflict, it was a social revolution.

I really don't think the mass murder of Native Australians in the 19th century had religious motives comparable to that of modern day terrorist attacks...

They were still lured in. That means that they were willing to commit terrorist acts. Yes, it's not the same as if they had hatched the plan on their own, but they are certainly more guilty than someone who was not lured in, so they are guilty of something. Maybe the legal code needs to be re-formed, and some items need to be re-phrased. Maybe they are innocent of crime X, but they are guilty of an intent to commit an act of terrorism, by their own admission.
