UPS Truck Stuck on My Street In snow 1/28/09

A UPS truck got stuck in my neighborhood because of the 10 inches of now we got from last night snow storm. I saw him struggling so i popped out the camera and started recording haha. I think this is an epic fail for the UPS company. This is in Indianapolis, Indiana 1/28/09.

It`s funny how you all laugh and make fun of the driver. If the delivery was coming to your house next, you`d be pissed if his being stuck made your delivery late. It`s laughable sure, but I didn`t see one driveway OR sidewalk shoveled. When a driver has 100-150 stops a day, add the time fighting ice, snow and slop. Walk a mile in the driver`s shoes.

I hate when this happens! I work for usps and I know how that feels. It sucks. The storm is over, so where are the plows?

yeah i can see how that would be a pain. and since the street that i live on isnt really a main travel way the indianapolis people didint think it would be convenient to plow the little streets. so we have to salt it the night before or pay somone to plow. its a hastle but its gatta get done somehow.

Deep snow,I would never have left the hub without chains.I used to be in package car and remember these days well!Nothing worse then getting stuck,tough enough making your commitments when the road is dry.I am in feeders now and don't have to worry about these situations anymore because the freeway is allways plowed and most the time salted!

UPS guys work their tails off. I use to do deliveries of just flowers. I can't imagine having the stress of having so many packages to deliver then having to deal with snow on top of it. On the plus side, most UPS guys around here have rocking bods to show for all that running around.
