This is my very first demoreel in animation.

All of the shots were made at Dreamwall Studios in Charleroi (Belgium) during the production of "The Garfield Show"

  • Hi Samy,

If you want to be an animator keep going this way, subscribe to the "11 second club" to train. I don't think there's a way to know on wich series you're gonna work when you'll be able to work in animation, and I don't know if there's gonna be new seasons of the garfield show when you'll be on the work market, but anyway there's a lot of funny series to work on. I was lucky to work on the first season, the second one was animated in asia, for money reasons.

  • Thanks :)

    We used Softimage XSI 5.11

  • this looks pretty good what program was used to make the garfield show

  • wow could you make another video.

  • Interesting to get a glimpse of what "The Garfield Show" looks like. But I sincerely wish Garfield hadn't moved his lips while talking/thinking... his lines are supposed to be cat language, and cats do not move their lips like humans. The comic strip, as well as all the hand-drawn Garfield cartoons from the 80s and early 90s, understood this very well, but the CGI version messes it up.
