A clip of how I scalp in the Dax futures. This was about 40 min of trading, from about 9:50am until 10:30am (central time) when the German equity market closes. This was sped up so it would not take 40 min to view and it would still give a good idea of how a scalper trades

  • mode2006 - is the order entry system TT ?

  • yes

  • Pretty good going. I noticed you mostly initiated shorts, even though the market was gently rising overall. What's your entry criterion? Just at market three ticks from a swing hi/lo ?

  • I trade off how the Dax is acting vs. correlated markets this could me minute to minute or on a longer term basis if I'm looking to pick a direction. Other times it just something I see in the order book in the Dxa or in the Dj Euro Stoxx(which I will then use to trade the DAX)

  • mofe2006 >> 31 contacts a side on 12 or 13 trades. P/L was $1659.00 or 1225 euros.

Is this profit inluding or excluding broker's commission?

  • I will try to put something together. There is a limited space I can record on my desktop with out slowing down the update rate of my monitor( this makes the mouse movement much slower which would be chaotic for my trading)

  • fuck yea nice trading homie.....

  • mofe2006: "I watch the speed and size of trades and how correlated markets are acting." Can you give us a video showing *that* in action? Meaning, do you watch charts or MD Trader windows for the other markets, and what are they doing at the times of your entry. That'd be cool++

  • No I don't use the cummulative bid/ask ration. Most of the size posted is noise. The key is to be able to tell when it is for real. I watch the speed and size of trades and how correlated markets are acting.

  • Is X trader has cumulative bid/ ask ratio. D u use it in your technique?
