After taking a deep breath, Logan went through with the call to his girl, it took two rings for the other line to answer. "Logan?"
He chuckled,"Stalker, much?" Selena leaned back on her bed, twirling a strand of her wild hair around her finger and giggling.
"It's called Caller I.D., Smart one."She bit her lip, feeling the pain ease as Logan laughed nervously in the phone, obviously eager to ask her something. It made her feel . . . good, knowing that he could so easily change her mood and take away the pain.
Why did she cause him pain? If he knew about her short reunion with Joe, he'd never want to see her again, he'd never love her again. He didn't deserve any of that. And not just because he's one, attractive guy - because he totally is-, but he really was a good person on the inside.
Selena's teeth dug deeper into her bottom lip, she wondered if she should make all of the things she told Joe, about moving on, come true. Maybe it was time to let go, maybe Logan did deserve Selena's full, irrevocable love. Besides, having one potential heartbreak was easier than having two - but she knew that Logan wasn't capable of breaking her heart . . . or anyone elses.
"Lena? You still there?"His voice adopted genuine concern, even if he was on the other line and Selena couldn't see his face - she knew him that well.
"Oh sorry, what were you saying?"She dumbly asked, face palming herself. But she heard Logan's playful laughter on the other line as he smoothly repeated,"I was wondering if you wanted . . . company."
This made Selena smile,"Just company?" She heard Logan shift on the other side, at this moment, his dorky grin was probably turned on.
"Well, we could have a repeat of last night . . . "
A giggle escaped Selena's untouched lips as she remembered that it was barely late afternoon. But she accepted Logan's invitation anyways; she needed him by her side.

Joe's wife, Donna, had called him many times that day. But he refused to answer any of those calls, which made guilt burn inside of him, which lead onto more confusion. She probably felt bad, what was he supposed to do? Pick up where his thoughts ended? And hate her for the cheating? She didn't even know that he knew . . . And there is the guilt, but she was the one cheating. Oh wait, he did too.
But he never got . . . that far. If he was going to take something as precious as Selena's virginity away, he was going to do it right. Not with a wife, not on a 'work trip' excuse and definately not in his house. He ran his slick fingers through his hands and closed his eyes. "What the hell am I supposed to do?"
His heart was split up into two, one said: "Give Donna a chance to explain! What if she tried to stop it but was forced?!", and the other one said: "What about Selena? You knew it from the start, you didn't have that connection with your wife."
Joe was still thinking it over, completely oblivious of the fact that he did marry the person that he loved . . . but not the person that he was in love with at that moment.
And that's where he went wrong.

"Did I ever tell you that your eyes were beautiful?"Logan murmured, his lips occupied by Selena's pink teasers.
"Yes, enough times to make me self-consious." She smiled, leaning back enough to meet his deep, blue globes. He rolled his eyes, his hands on either side of her face and his thumbs rubbing her cheeks in circular motions. He didn't understand how a girl like Selena could ever be self-consious, she was just flawless in every way - she could probably be mistaken for a goddess.
Selena played with the collar on Logan's shirt and stiffled a sigh, she was right there with him but something was just missing. She felt . . . distant from him, like her heart was somewhere else. Or with someone else.
Gee, I wonder who, she grimly thought.
