Lego Mindstorms Grabber Robot

This is my Lego Mindstorms RCX grabber robot. It has 3 Motors (2 for actuation, one to grab and lift), 3 Touch sensors (2 used for bumper, one for grabber) and one lightsensor to detect an object to grab.
It drives around and avoids obstacles until it finds an object (e.g. a pair of wheels) then it grabs, lifts and moves it. The program is written in NQC (because you can have two different sensors at one RCX Input).

I made an RCX robot with that same style of design for grabbing stuff! I actually used a touch sensor in the middle of the grabber arms, so it would hit what it would pick up and attempt to grab it that way, instead of "seeing" it with the light sensor. great video and robot!
