Debt Collection Pointers, Part 3

I shot this video, because I know that there are people out there that are currently struggling with making ends meet and having trouble with their credit cards' balances spiraling crazily out of control. I just wanted to share some useful information about what debt collectors CAN and CANNOT say to you on the phone here in relation to your debt. I also wanted to talk about check cashing places and what they can and can't say to you or a 3rd party either. I also talk about the federal law that trumps the state laws but also protects the debtor from harassing phone calls.

Most importantly here, I talk about (towards the end in particular) about how you ARE ALLOWED to record the phone conversation, BUT you MUST tell the collector on the phone that you ARE recording the phone conversation at the beginning of the call.
