I reviewed my original video and thought that perhaps I'm winding the wire in the wrong place on the coil....the video will explain.

  • i think the way that the magnetic field is cutting the coil is all wrong! i'm not sure how you did the setup but the magnetic field has to go from the north of the magnets through the core of the coil and back to the south, which also means that the magnets have to be alternated (ie: N S N S N S). in your vid it seems like the coil is wound around a loop of metal. if i where you i would eliminate that loop and rotate the coil by 90degrees. that might do the job.

  • The loop is the key! But, your right about the coil....I was attempting to build a flawed system from the get go. Look at my later successes.

  • Do you have a wire diagram on your motor that's connected to you generator? I'm almost done making a permanent electric magnet generator myself, but found out that the magnets are not strong enough for whatever load you're using it for. Thank you..

  • Heat means to much amps, use thicker wire, neos do that. Good luck, and keep posting!
