@Conway6288 so what the hell MSI :(
-
@Conway6288 yeah i buy everything from ebuyer and overclockers uk and sometimes aria they're good yh I might use an 922 or 912 plus for my client because he just wants something that looks insane I will be using the exact same components you used its weird
-
@JJROADSTA You can't get that bundle from eBuyer anymore :/ Which is where it came from before! Nice case though. The HAF 912 is where its at now however.

so its true then, on this mobo second card is going to cover the Sata ports, even if the right angles fit, if I need to trouble shoot with or add sata devices I've got to remove the second card cause that looks like a tight fit. Not a great design for SLI/Crossfire as I've been reading, came just to look that up, mobo on a good sale but I guess I know why now :(

@darknessofkrish This board doesn't support SLI or Crossfire.
I think you are thinking of the G55.

@Conway6288 alot of issue on the fact of this apparently, even on the MSI sites itself even, right on the board, at least maybe the latest versions? On the Newegg site, pictures of the mobo, right under the top PCI-E 16 slot it says "True PCI-E 2.0 SLI & Crossfire X" and on MSI's site, at least when you line it up in their "Product comparison" option, it also says SLI- Yes. But it seems you'll need that second card off to get to those sata ports.

@darknessofkrish Agh I remember now. The customer who bought this wanted to set up SLI but it can only support Crossfire.
I don't think the SATA ports will be a problem if you have a shorter card.

@Conway6288 and yeah my card is .33" longer and that one already overlaps the board, seems to be shorter than the standard 9.6" board.

@darknessofkrish What build do you have in mind? I might be able to offer an alternative. There are much better alternatives to this board.
The Biosater TP67XE for example, offers SLI and Crossfire support whilst being a heavy overclocker.
