If this is noise, then it's wonderful, beautiful, joyful noise.

It may have the form of "a blues" but it most definitely lacks the feel of a blues. Sorry but there's just not enough sorrow in these notes for it to be blues. Not taking away from the performance, it's quite impressive to say the least, but blues is best left to the street musician and not the "Concert Series" at a local university.

It's just French bow vs German bow. French bow hold is almost identical to a cello hold.
