Its called stop motion because, each movement that the peices make is one frame. Basically a picture taken. Everytime something moves it WAS handled, you just couldn't see it. He/She takes a picture with a cube in one position, then moves it and takes another picture of it in another position. YOu just keep repeting the process until your satisfied. Then you upload the picture to the computer, and use some kind of program to put them together. some movies that are made of clay are stop motion.
