I was talking about just the trailer itself, and the narrator saying "Amarcord" really slowly. When I was a kid I kept on repeating a trailer I saw for Serendipity once, where the narrator sounded really funny describing the movie so it sounded really important

A trailer is just a snap-shot of the movie. Amarcord was made in 1973, not 2012, Fair enough Brett, if you don't like Italian movies. But worth a look and not as arty as his other more famous movies. My favourite Fellini movie, as a quirky 1930's Italian village story, spread across a whole year. Superb scenes, humour and music.

Agree with Mark's comments. Superb film.Very funny and a wonderful insight into 1930's small town life in Italy. Fueled my life-long love of Italian art and movies.

Some comments here must be from young American illiterates drugged on ipods? I get a kick out of the kids who have apparently only watched American Hollywood cartoon films until now. Imagine being born when no TV existed.Try watching some films like Kubrick's 2001 A Space Odyssey, Fellini's La Dolce Vita, 8 1/2, Koyanisqaatsi, Welles The Third Man, Touch of Evil, Hitchcocks works, Man Who Knew Too Much.Report what you have learned after seeing these.
