Personally, I love Air Canada, but I'm just a standard economy passenger. Good fleet, IFE, and great service - plus it is my country's flag carrier, haha! :-)

I flew United YYC-SFO-LAS-DEN-YYC a few months ago, and it was horrible. 3/4 flights were delayed, no in-flight entertainment, old planes, check-in at LAS was a total mess...though United Express with Economy Plus seating to San Francisco was really enjoyable!

I have actually never flown AC... I would love to though on the long trip from SYD to Vancouver... :)

For now I gonna say Eva airline. I flew coach class and is was ok. I flew Asiana airline coach class and I'm like fuck this seat. The table was limbing, they put me on glueing free meal by some mistake Imma like WTF. I'm really piss of. And is was a long ass fly from Pittsburgh PA took 5h to SAN and from SAN took 19 fucking hour to Soul Korea and 5/30 h from Soul to Ho Chi Minh city in Vietnam

@ohianjo We share some preferences! I am a Mileage Plus Premier Executive member (Star Alliance Gold) and use Polo Black. I made an upgrade to UA's new Business Class in a Boeing 767-300 back in June, but my camera's battery was empty.... A very stupid thing because it was a 10 hour flight out of Chicago to South America. - As far as I understood, you are Australian, right? So, why do you fly so often with UA? What about Qantas?

@ohianjo I am sure it makes a big difference! But compared to the basic product we get in Canada, where our two major airlines have a really high standard (but also a higher price, haha)...not so great!

Try out AC! I don't know how the Executive Class product compares, but economy is great. And the SYD-YVR flights are apparently fantastic -- beautifully refurbished B763s! I would love to fly them to Australia; I am dying to visit! :-)
