XFC Radio Control Helicopter Competition 2008

Of the many competition events held around the world the Extreme Flight Championships (XFC) has become one of the premier events in RC flying. Some of the best RC airplane and helicopter pilots in the world come together in at the AMA headquarters in Muncie, IN to compete for the title of Extreme Flight Champion. The 7th Annual XFC was held on June 13-15th 2008 and the RCU Event Staff was there to bring you the sites and sounds of the competition.

Each pilot will be performing two different programs: one made up entirely of the pilot's choosing and a second program that includes required elements. In most cases these stunts are well beyond the limits of full-sized aircraft. At the conclusion of the previous year's event we always find ourselves wondering how it could be humanly possible to perform stunts that are any more radical, exciting, and yes dare I say it. EXTREME!!!!!! But even though the bar gets raised higher and higher each year, this World Class group of pilots never fails to deliver the goods.
