Over in the Electramones' parallel universe ...
Bob Last calls a crisis meeting to discuss the less-than-chartbusting reaction to the band's debut single, which is to everyone's horror being outsold by 2.3's 'All Time Low'/'Where to now?', Fast Product's least groovy signing, and by common consent the uncoolest band in Sheffield. There seem to be 2 choices -
1) release the ballad - whoah, Dee Dee's got a gun! Apparently, 'releasing the ballad' - even a ballad as good as I Wanna Be Your Boyfried - is something only a clapped-out old Fool to Cry like Mick Jagger would do. And these boys will not.
2) Re-promote the first single with a new sleeve and a slightly revamped video.
So 2) it is, and the minor revamp involves adding a bit of motion blur to the groovy computer graphics (then waiting for hours for the rendering to complete - after all, an Apple I was not the world's zippiest computer), and adding in Davros and some Cybermen.
Meanwhile, over in the real world ... I just wanted to add some motion blur, Cybermen and Davros. But I fear over in the Electramones' parallel universe they may soon be forced to release the ballad. Poor Dee Dee.
p.s. over here in the real world, 2.3 were great

b) are you not aware that Johnny Ramone and Philip Adrian Wright from the Human League were pen pals for many years?
c) you are simply a dick, through and through.
