The government (& "civilized" global populace in general" knows nothing about our (Hodenausonee) cultural. The KKKanadian & amerikan etc. governing corporate structures could NOT & HAVE NEVER owned ANY real estate on turtle island. according to our culture we do not OWN the land. We just maintain it for future generations. Therefore these "ancient surrenders" do not exist. How can the whiteys claim to have acquired "land title" when they didnt communicate with the Owner reguarding their plight?

If they are such a proud people why would they hide behind scarves and hide their faces? I fell shame for this situation. If I were a native I would be embarrassed on hwo some of my bretheren has and hve acted. I just don't get?

If the government would seriously negotiate then things wouldn't have to come to this kind of head.
The government continues to drag their feet and it's the Natives and Non-Natives alike who will pay the consequences. Cooperative Proactive negoations are needed.
