The lettuce is going crazy! 34 days from seed. If you ever experiment with hydroponics...do lettuce first. It's very easy and takes the least nutrients. My peppers had a little setback but are back on track. Tomatoes are healthy and strong. My basil as usual doing well. Basil is as easy as lettuce and I love it. I have my old Aerogarden growing Tiny Tim Tomatoes. I post a few pictures and updates between videos on my site at http://www.tomorrowsgarden.net/blog - it's ever evolving with info.

  • Everything's looking good! Crazy how easy it is to grow hydro lettuce! I was sure the mouse was back. You had me going! Now where's the spider? LOL

  • @mediamaker2000 The mouse is gone. He took off last Spring. This is at where I work in the dungeon away from home. I did see the spider about 2 weeks ago but there was nothing to eat for him/her/it. You just never know these days.

  • Update ever week u get people to watch Ur video

  • @MrMotelone Not too much happens in a week and I don't want to bore people with slight growth. I meant to get a video out last week but work work work did me in. I do post pictures every week on the website since they take only a few minutes to do.

  • Everything looks awesome for only 34 days, and that lettuce wow : )

  • @Planting81 Thanks, I planted the seed Christmas Eve and I'm really blown away on how fast it grew this time.

  • Do you want any of my seeds from Johnnys select seeds? I have spinach, strawberry, and other stuff....not doing indoor growing anymore...it'd be a shame to just throw them away.

  • All your plants look very healthy. Guess I should do a video to show my Big Zak that I will be taking cuttings from soon.

My push this winter/spring will be on Milkweed. The plan is to turn my current grow room into a Monarch Butterfly area and also have a breeding area outside but need the Milkweed before ordering the Monarch's.

I'm also going to start Brussels Sprouts next week along with Broccoli.

  • Great update. Are you planning on stringing up the tomatoes? Or just letting them sprawl?

  • @SleestaksRule You could get some Miracle Grow organic soil and it could eat all the fungus gnats from it lol

  • I'm new to your channel... hydroponics seems to agree with you. I'm just learning what to do. I've always done sq. ft. gardening but, hydroponics makes my sq ft. look goofy. Enjoyed your videos.

  • What temperature is the air in your grow room? I have tried lettuce recently and it went straight up to seed. We got some leaves from the lettuce, but not as many as I would lIke. My grow room is about 80 degrees with the lights on and 75 with them off. I find my bhut jolokia peppers are doing great and the tomatoes like it, but the lettuce not so much.
