  • You genious of the piano keys O_O

  • Que preciosa melodia.....muy bien ese trabajo, te falta tocarlo en arpa ;)

  • @stormtresse

I understand how you feel. Based on psychology study on music, it is proven that music with pitch as low as 17 hertz may cause hallucinations. That is why I love his work. Imagine composing a song that can make people see ghost, it's just splendid. Lol, not really. But it is because that loud strong noise, it causes our eardrums to react differently to regular music, which is like at 70-90 hertz or something.

  • @tenglee2 I've gotta say, i did like it a lot more the more i listened to it, and i do like the idea of expressionism and think that peripetie is very good at conveying feelings. it just creeps me out is all XD

  • @tenglee2

For example, his playing is like A Sailor Moon Concert. The music's accompaniment is in minor, while the vocalist is singing off note in a major tone. It will sound weird. On the other hand, Schoenberg's Peripetie is different, He purposely made it like that.

  • @stormtresse

Lol. We're like totally opposite. Peripetie by Schoenberg is like one of the most wonderful music out there. It is a very difficult and skilled piece. Many people who disliked it turned out to be illiterate in music. While people who appreciate it has a high knowledge in music. If you listen to more music, you will learn to love Schoenberg's music. Unlike any other music out there, his is unique, filled with many skilled and abstract tone. But in this music, it is different.

  • @tenglee2 i dont mind some dissonance sometimes it can help to get across someone's ideas, but i do not like expressionist music. just search for 'peripetie' by schoenberg and you will see why i dont like it. the dissonance is just way ott

  • @stormtresse

It sounds dissonance too me because I've been listening to a lot of music. So somehow it twitches my ears. He's playing the melody in minor scale while playing the harmony in major scale, i.g. Left Hand: C, G, E, while Right hand, C, D, Eb. It has a dissonance sound to it, and if you listen to the real song, it does not. But like you say, music depends on the person's opinion.

  • @tenglee2 sounds pretty good like that too though :D i love transposing stuff
