I can do the back stroke flip turn, but then the water from my nose goes down into my throat and I wind up coughing on it after a few more laps. How do I prevent this?

one question that i need an urgent reply. when i do backstroke i always throw the water in to my mouth LOL but when i close the mouth i throw the water into my nose thats funny but i need to fix this problem
