Buffalo Bills vs. New Orlean Saints (1980) Archie Manning, the father of Peyton Manning and Eli Manning, beats me and Charlie Romes for a touchdown early in the game with a nice pass to Ike Harris. After the touchdown I block the extra point and then later in the game I break up a deep pass intended for Wes Chandler. We won the game to go 3-0 for the season.

That was when Phil Villipiano played for the Bills and they played the Raiders and Jim Plunkett during the Super Bowl run.

11 interceptions in 9 starts is other-worldly. That's just beautiful ball-hawking, and only an elite few have that kind of nose for the ball.

You never know what might have been if he had a good offensive line.
I wonder what I could have done if it hadn't been for 5 knee injuries and recunstructive surgery on my knee. I had 11 interceptions in the 9 games that I started. After the surgery......... it was all over.
