Buffalo Bills vs. New Orlean Saints (1980) Archie Manning, the father of Peyton Manning and Eli Manning, beats me and Charlie Romes for a touchdown early in the game with a nice pass to Ike Harris. After the touchdown I block the extra point and then later in the game I break up a deep pass intended for Wes Chandler. We won the game to go 3-0 for the season.

Like seeing this. Was too little (1 year old) at the time to have payed attention to this game.

You never know what might have been if he had a good offensive line.

I wonder what I could have done if it hadn't been for 5 knee injuries and recunstructive surgery on my knee. I had 11 interceptions in the 9 games that I started. After the surgery......... it was all over.

Archie Manning was a very good & talented QB but he just happened to play for the Saints in the 70's so it didn't show up in his record
