LOL. Standing on your feet not doing a God damn thing is brutal. I rather be sent back to the sandbox or some other 3rd world shit hole for work, then work as a guard at some retail store standing in the same spot or alike for 8 or more hours. Fuck that. Been there/Done that.

That's true, but that's not training, it's accustomisation. If that were training then they'd send you on a course to stand largely motionless, eight hours a day, for about a month before you started working.

How can you be trained not to feel tired standing up, lol. I've done my share of guarding and your legs are screaming at the end of the day, feels like they're on fire when you finally get to sit down at home.

I think it's all about public perception. A tiresome number of people get annoyed when they see a seated security guard, somehow thinking he's having a whale of a time and being paid for it. Someone who's always standing looks like they can quickly spring into action.
