@sangobemi71 Did you try to get her to go to counseling? Or if you did, did you tell her that you would go to counseling WITH her?
Not trying to be harsh, but I assume she told you about being molested BEFORE you guys got married. You KNEW this, knowing she may have some problems with intimacy. You marry her ANYWAYS, and NOW you're complaining about lack of intimacy...
Your wife NEEDS help. For her AND for you... offer to go with her to seek professional advice.

April thank you for this post. I have been married to a woman for 9 years and have been blessed with a beautiful child. However my wife was raped/molested as a child and has yet to really address this trauma. This has caused incredible strain on our relationship especially around intimacy or the lack thereof...I want to know how I can help my wife and our relationship...I've tried broaching the subject but she is in complete denial...any advice would be greatly appreciated..

i really hate how these wussies, these confused and evil man have abused women. I really hate how their evil has caused so much damage. i really hate how so many man run free and all these women will never tell about it and just suffer alone. Ima protect all under my care and abusers, yall are lucky that im not God, you would have died the very instant you tried to do it..

When I was Youth Pastor, I met a teen girl who was brutally molested by her Dad and his friends for years. She was a wreck. Didn't even liked to be touched. Was tormented for years. Well, through a lot of prayer and faith, she got healed. Ended up getting married, has kids, even let her Dad come to her wedding. Last time I saw her she was a paramedic.
