And we have complaints in New Zealand over the Nazi antics of those Auckland Grammar students in the Auckland War Memorial Museum in New Zealand?

A great reason to abandon the pledge altogether.

It is also informative to view the part about the swastika actually being called a hakenkreuz or hooked cross and used a meshed S-letters for "Socialism" under the National Socialist German Workers Party. Thanx.

That's so funny. I just happened to pick up a book by Edward Bellamy a couple months ago without understanding the significance of it. I now want very much to read it. I feel like since he was a part of the organizations that helped determine policy I might be able to understand a litte about what might come in the future.

That's an amazing cooincidence.

Information is power. We need to know what we're up against. These guys have money, but we have numbers.

Peace.

I looked up Edward Bellamy.

I found it odd that a Erich Fromm, social psychologist from Germany would called the book Edward Bellany wrote "Looking Backward: 2000-1887" ""one of the most remarkable books ever published in America",

But, then again. Why should it be old.

The Nazis were closeted socialists with a twist, racism.

If you look at todays liberal socialist today in the country they all use race as their key issue.

I attended a July 4th event some time ago, and the band began playing the National Anthem. I didn't stand and did not put my right hand over my heart. People gave me dirty looks. Boy, some people are so gullible that if the Pledge included placing our hands over our genitals, they would do it.

"Caligula wished that the Roman people had but one neck that he might cut it off...I was capable of wishing the same thing concerning the laboring classes of America." -- Edward Bellamy

Dr. Curry debunked the Roman Salute: Cinema, History, Ideology. He also debunked Martin Winkler, who wrote Gladiator: Film and History.

No wonder the Tampa Tribune is facing repeated layoffs and a declining format. Elaine Silvestrini & Daniel Ruth probably cause spectators to wager on when the Trib will go out of business. When people give Trib writers chicken salad, they turn it into chicken $h!t and drive readers away. Thanks are due to those community leaders over the years who tried to educate the paper & its writers & point them in the correct direction: away from statism/socialism & flag fetishism, & toward liberty.
