I agree. I have no clue why the Scion tC has such a quality build. Everything is extremely capable, even the 2az-fe.
Obviously, Chris doesn't run ONE stock tranny, or even one stock sleeved motor, but none of us high hp tC owners are driving at WOT, launching, and driving at peak power levels all the time either. At the moment, there aren't any tranny options for tC's except clutches and LSD's.

it just doesn't seem like any stock tranny form a 15K car would put up with that sort of punishment for very long "buddy"

Stock Scion tC tranny has been proven to hold almost 800hp buddy, and there are a lot of tC's over 500whp now on stock trannys.
