His books and seminars are competitively priced. Whether or not you think they are expensive does not make him by definition wrong or unlikable. I've seen many people call bullshit on Dave in their youtube comments but none have ever given better financial advice.

Dave here wants to help us in every way, financially speaking. He cares, he really cares for us and has our needs close to his heart. His best intentions all the way.
And oh .... btw, don't forget to buy his expensive books and expensive seminars. (.... eyes roll).

Dave Ramsey should seriously consider running for president. I am very cynical about every politician because I just wonder how many of them have credit cards & think that they are financially sophisticated and / or have car notes & think they will always have a car payment and / or think a student loan is the only way you can go to college and / or they are too financially sophisticated to have a written monthly budget. I want a politician who has gone through & lived Dave's FPU classes!

@FreedomMask I share this belief but you come off as a scrooge in that there are people with disabilities & elder people who cannot work & independent. I know our response is that charities should fulfill the role of taking care of them but when their are no charities that currently rival SSI & public housing and you having no power to create such a charity on the same scale as those government services, it comes off as us conservatives just wanting to say we have no responsibility towards them
