  • Google needs stopping!! What happens when google starts selling sofa's? All other sofa companies disappear from search results google become largest sofa company overnight.

  • If there's still competitor links in the query results and Google's are just at the top in many cases then there's still competition. If the user is so lazy to scroll down for the right answer then that's their problem, not Google's. Can you find the holes in Eric's statements? Sure, but rarely do I not find what I'm looking for on Google and that is the key goal to have operating with as much data as they must deal with. My consistent experience is what makes Google the leader in its field.
