Hacienda's encore at the Degrassi House gig (in Toronto) on July 30th: "Laid"- a popular song from the mid-90's by the British band James. Our sound man grabbed a drum and just started beating on it...at least I hope it was a drum!

pretty good job its a hard to sing at the 'pretty' part but you did well. i like how the guitarist was smirking when you sang that bit haha. You played it faster than the original but different is good :) well done

Cheers! I had to watch it again to see when (and why) Chris was laughing(he's the guitarist...I'm Lee- dude with the funny-looking hair and wheelchair doing the singing). And as funny as it is to hear a grown man going into a falsetto voice (see "The Darkness" ;), it was actually because his brother was banging away wildly- off stage!- on a spare tom that was kicking around the venue... I guess he got tired of running the sound board!
