THIS IS MY FIRST MACHINIMA! So PLEASE DON'T critique the OBVIOUS fail in it!
I am aware that it's not that great of a movie (as in it sucks). As a matter of fact, I pretty much just consider this a 'capture card test' due to the fact that it had no pre-production/planning and was easily completed in less than TWO NIGHTS. Even though this Machinima is nothing but a rushed piece of dragged-on, covenant crap, it honestly turned out a little better than I expected so I decided to post it anyway. Not to mention it's subject matter and decent view count adds some traffic to my channel.

So if you choose to watch it,
Find a way to
Enjoy the first of many.

"A master pilot Elite known as Vinne crash lands in the middle of a desolite desert. The area quickly shows signs of danger as unknown forces begin to attack the ex-covanant flyer. With the help of Steven, back with the military, Vinne tries to solve the mystery of Sandtrap... alive."

  • dude imagine if u could play as brutes and flood in halo 3's multiplayer things would be a lot more epic.

  • @ariberter I was actually expecting that when Halo 3 came out. Slightly disappointing.

  • I think you should put some real work into how the spartans fit into the storyline, no offense meant. You make the human super soldiers seem like some weak annoying peices of crap, which we all know isnt true. Also, you could possibly use this for later in the storyline, like say the elite is near death, but is saved by a spartan, or vice versa. All i'm basically trying to get through though is "Give the spartans a bigger role, and you can expand your plot possibilities. other than that, great!

  • I completely understand where you're coming from. I, too, feel that way when watching some Machinimas. This however was a rushed test and merely something to do for two nights. Not much thought was put into the story at all. But give me time; I am working currently (slowly) on a machinima with Reach. This one will crush Crash Landing and all impressions made by it on my solo cinematic ability... hopefully

  • @Less4Dragon and red monitors ftw

  • @eachago Well appreciated. If you get a chance though, I highly recommend watching the one linked in the annotation called "Capture the Flag". It's two years more recent than this, and I put WAY more effort into it.

  • Good work :)

    *Spartan sucks,Sangheilies rulez*

    HEHE XD

  • A good idea is to add in the sort of characteristics that you expect in an Elite's voice. A bit more life! But an excellent effort at Machinima making, I can see a true, great potential here! Well done!

  • i hate how in halo 3 multiplayer they make the elites look so short and fat

  • I enjoyed watching the video. Thought it was better than some of the machinima's out there.
