first good start. the issue i was havin is that i completely forgot i had a pair of 680cc injectors in the primaries, and the 550cc injectors in the secondaries. i simply switched them out and the car started right up and revved nicely. now the only issue is building boost.... =-\ kind of gay, but owell. it'll get there sooner or later.

  • fucking newbs. go do some research..

  • noobs do research, and make mistakes for lack of experience, experience is acquired by doing.

hence my predicaments, so thanks for being relative to the situation.

  • did you convert the non-turbo rx7 into a turbo?

cuz i have an 88 non turbo and i want to put a turbo on it but i wasn't sure if it would turn out good

  • you sure can turbo an NA, aslong as you get all the necessary pieces.

get the injectors, cheapest are the 680cc gsl-se injectors, the turboII ecu, turbo unit with exhaust manifold,

you will need to make a spacer because the turbo will hit UIM.

i ended up chiseling some of the excess metal on the LIM so the turbo would clear and be attached close to the block.

oil lines, bov, SAFC would be fine, boost controller are pretty much it.

  • Are you serious? You should first let the 7 go through the accelerated warmup before you start revving it like that. Wait till your RPM drops back down from 2,500.

  • this wasnt the VERY first start lol.

i had actually alread ran it for a bit but since i hadnt recorded it, i had a friend turn the car and and turn it on so i could record it.

  • i completely agree with you on putting a turbo on a turbo motor.

slapping a turbo on an NA is also successful.

the only argument i would put up is reliablility with an extra bump in power, and ZERO LAG. turboed-na.

if your going HIGH HORSEPOWER go for turbo engine. if your going for MORE power and ZERO LAG, SAME RELIABILITY. turboed na (on low boost of course)

  • FIRST OFF!

PUT A TURBO ON A TURBO MOTOR!

PUT A TURBO MOTOR ON A TURBO TRANNY

PUT A TURBO TRANNY ON A TURBO DRIVELINE

work in that order and youll be fine but just slapping a turbo on an N/A Will Be Disastrous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IVE SEEN IT DONe TO MANY TIMES! in the right application it can be successful. The right way! Sorry for yelling. LOL
