i don't get the part about touching your shoulder blades. if i try to touch my shoulderblades, i have to go far back enough that my head touches the ground. is that really how far you need to go? or is it enough that your lower back is flat on the ground? thanks!

@TheRunningisfun Two minutes to do as many as you can.
-
this shit hurts my tailbone
-
@bbsloveme thank you i did them this morning while lightly placing my hand on my neck. did not hurt at all
-
@mjjcng8958 ok. then try to keep your head straight with your back and use just your core. i know its a natural reaction to strain your head forward because your body will follow, but you cant use your neck to do your core workout. and by using just your core, youll limit the pain and maximize your results.
-
@bbsloveme ok but i have to do them righ
-
@mjjcng8958 because youre straining your neck forward to pull your body up. a way to fix this is to tuck your chin into your chest. while it may not be the proper way to do a sit up, it'll stop your neck from hurting.
-
well why does my neck hurt when i do them?
-
is this how it is in the AF, aswell?
thnx

What's the time limit
proper army situp, not a proper situp.
I would have thought the army wanted to reduce risk of injury by making them do it the proper way

No, CPL is one rank above PFC, witch in turn is one rank above E-2 ( PV2) witch is one rank above people who have not completed boot-camp ( Basic)
2nd LT is a officer - 2nd LT is the lowest officer rank- but it still "in theory" is higher then the highest enlisted rank.
We all know Master Sergeants scare the holy mother out of any officer.
